Orkusalan started its journey in charging solutions in 2018 with the goal of making it easier for electric car owners to find their way around the country.
Since then, Orkusalan has installed several rapid charging stations throughout the country, and the number of them will increase even more in the coming years.
Orkusalan Key
With the Orkusalan key, you can charge at all Orkusalan charging stations around the country.
You can get the key at Orkusalan's headquarters, Urðarhvarf 8B in Kópavogur, or have it delivered to your door.
Orkusalan in collaboration with e1
Orkusalan and e1 have teamed up to make all Orkusalan's charging stations accessible in the e1 app, with this Orkusalan wants to support Icelandic start-ups and make it easier for electric car owners to access all stations in one place.
e1 is an Icelandic software startup that has developed an app with the goal that everyone can find charging stations, charge and pay for them in a simple way. The main goal of e1 is to unite all charging stations in one place, while also establishing a sharing economy where owners of charging stations can sell access to their stations to others.
